Looking at Camilla's hat again, I think the brim really ought to sit level at the least or turn down like Audrey's.
as much as i dislike Camilla, it really isn't fair to put ANYONE next to Audrey. of course SHE could carry anything off.
Yeah, someone once said, "She'd look good in lint." The older I get and the more I see of the world, the more I realize Audrey was a freak of nature. Too perfect to be true.
Michaela, why do you dislike Camilla so much? It's not as if you were a diehard Diana fan. I remember you wrote a paper trashing the public outporing of grief after her death.
I distinctly remember that Di kicked the bucket before I knew you, Emma. Must've been someone else.
You asked...
The sole remaining purpose of the monarchy is to be attractive. William, Harry and Elizabeth are relatively attractive. Charles and Camilla are ugly. Charles is almost obscenely ugly. And, call me a prude, but adultery is distasteful. Particularly among middle-aged people.
No, you mentioned Diana in a paper you wrote for Freedoms Foundations. I think it was the Tocqueville-esque analysis of an American institution paper assignment. You wrote on the news media. One of the examples you gave was that after Diana's death, the media only presented her as a saint and not as the bad person she really was.
I read this paper myself!I will call on Dr. Stacey to back me up on this one if I have to.
I remember now -- it wasn't about Di but I did use her as an example. She wasn't a saint, but who would be after being married to Charles?
It looks like a lampshade.
